NEWvember! HE makes all things NEW!

I’m tired.  I hate mornings, and I can’t seem to get enough coffee…EVER! I have SO MANY fun ideas and new creations I want to dive into, but I can’t seem to get focused.  And you know what, I’m not happy about that.  I can’t live my life to the fullest, be the best mommy I can be, and bring JOY to the Father if I’m not taking the time to FOCUS on what TRULY matters in this life, making the Father Known!

You see for many years I had a clear vision and a mission to make Him known.  But somewhere along the way (you know that moment when I peed on a stick and EVERYTHING from my waistline to my career changed!) I ended up losing site of that vision.  And it wasn’t until recently that I realized, my mission NEVER changed, just my AUDIENCE changed.  And now, my audience is more important than EVER!

SEE… aren’t they cute??

We were pulling into Legoland as I snapped this pic! Super exciting day!

ANWAY, back to it…These two crazy little boys need to know Jesus more than anything else in this world.  They need to know that Jesus loves them, has a plan for them, and they need to be taught that by ME.  I mean, don’t get me wrong, we say our prayers, and we never miss a Sunday, but am I doing all that I can to make sure they KNOW?

And part of that “making the Father KNOWN” job, is knowing Him more myself! Sooooo, in spite of being super tired, (I mean, I’m a mom! Its like tired is part of my job description!) I set the alarm for 6:00am. And this morning, I didn’t snooze.  Not ONCE.  Because its NEWvember YALL!  It’s the start of a NEW me!  A more focused mom, a mom on a mission!

So I got up early, and spent some time with the Father alone.  I studied, I prayed, and I took time to focus on our busy day.  And then this afternoon, I took some time to be a little creative too.  Because when I spend some time being creative, it makes me a happier person, and therefore a better mom! 😉

Heres the outcome!  You see I’ve been hungry, thirsty for MORE.  My prayer is that God will take these Dry Bones and make them RISE UP!  That He would give me breathe and life!  To speak new life into me, and let me speak that into my boys.  So here’s a creative video of todays Bible Art on Ezekiel 37, the Valley of the Dry Bones.
